Best toys for cats?

Dallas Bartolini: You do nothing but be there with her for moral support. Nature will tell her what to do and she will do it. She does need a safe quiet place preferable not the dog bed. It needs to be someplace clean.

Nikki Sypult: when my kittens where born...we went to the vet....when they are born ...they have a sack around them and the vet just cleaned that off...and they also have this little squeezer thing(what babies have when they are born) and they use that to get the mucus out of their little nose and mouth...they then gave me one kitten and my dad another one..and then the vets took the rest...and we started kind of ....rubbing the cats stomach with a towel...to keep the heart beating...ooo and they also used a heat lamp to keep them warm....so that's a lot to do...and if you don't feel comfortable doing all that...then I would suggest to go to the vet....Ohh and to answer your question...anywhere you want to have them being born is fine...but make sure ! that the surface is very sterile ...so if you want it in the dog bed...just but towels down everywhere...and if possible try to keep that area some what warm...good luck!!!

Season Confalone: Sounds like MeMe has more than one boyfriend!

Georgina Natal: Mice

Denna Prudente: the mom will take care of all the gross stuff. You could move them as long as you show the cat where they are, but she might keep going back to where she had them and might move them back, oh and, no shes not too young to have kittens. I've heard of a cat having kittens healthily before they are 1.

Lourie Mcroberts: I had a female cat some time back. She was young when her first litter came. I helped her with bedding but it was a handfull to get her to "use" it. I changed her bedding about everyday to keep the blood and smell down. Flys will lay eggs if you leave that stuff for too long. Anyways, she did everything. I did take the first kitten out of the bag and warm it up. The res! t she ate the sack and cut the cord. It was real fast and easy! .I know it bothers some to see some kittens not make it but it is part of life. Good Luck!

Alise Rutgers: one of the two cats are part siamese that's the only thing i can think of

Lindsey Zanardi: You let an unaltered female run around outside unsupervised? Are you even the slightest bit aware of the pet overpopulation problem in the world? good lord. And a cat can be pregnant from several different cats (normally not more than 2) in the same litter. So your cat may have had other Toms attacking her.

Jude Colbenson: a baby mice or a bird xD.fishes

Heidi Creselious: It could have been that the tabby cat and another cat probably a siamese got her pregnant without anyone knowing. That has happened to my cats before.

Luke Creitz: My cat goes nuts over the red dot toy. She chases it all over the house, lol. She also likes to fetch balled up pieces of paper. Amazon has a vast selection of toys.

Ardelia Liptow: My cat like rope mouse toy very much!!

Damion Oleksa: I cant find many on the internet, or not good ones. Can anyone hlep me.

Kara Tabian: Since you have posted the question, the event may already have happened. I have posted a link on newborn kitten care that should answer many of your questions.Your dog will have to be kept away. He could become jealous, or if he frightens the mother, she will relocate the kittens and make your job perhaps more complicated.

Collin Barter: My cats have all LOVED black hair ties I don't know why but they do

Matt Tiry: Catit senses circuit with ball. I use the newer version ! one which is green and one normal and one flashing ball. My younger DSH loves playing with it but my older ragdoll likes it but just watches her. Also My older cat goes mad for the wilko cluloured balls in a set of 3. There only about a pound or something so hardly expensive at all.

Toya Braskett: Just gotta try different things. All cats are different. My cats like wand toys (especially ones without string. Just feathers on a stick), crumpled up paper balls, those long toys that are made for cats to kick, paper bags, boxes, crinkle tunnels, catnip toys and larger mice toys that are like small plushies.

Cletus Crotts: That is weird. I remember my siamese cat had kittens and none of them came out siamese. One was a 2 were tabby, and I remember the other one came out black and white. I'm sure a vet would know why that happens but yeah that is really weird how their kittens can come out different like that.

Arleen Bussing: Haha. No, kittens at the instant a! re not born with fleas. Fleas come from the ambience that the kittens are born INTO. If mama cat has fleas, the kittens will maximum fairly get them. human beings have faith the strangest issues, do no longer they? starting to be up, I had this buddy who believed that cows laid eggs- LOL.

Eli Trapeni: Laser pen

Brian Freedland: I was once owned by a cat whose favorite toy was the protective cover I took off the end of a lamp cord. Another preferred a little rubber ball she stole from the neighbor's dog. All the cats who have owned me loved anything with catnip in it. Cats are born junkies!

Antonette Shappy: Each cat likes different things. My cat loves milk rings. Try different toys that your cat likes. Think about different materials, different sounds, and things like catnip.

Tawny Grosskreutz: string and a paper box.

Kandi Lough: I have a tabby who just giving birth... I know that the kittens father is tabby also (lets face it every-tim! e I leave the house them two are freaking in the front yard!) So no dou! bt the daddy is a tabby. Anyways she gave birth to 5 kittens, 4 tabbies, 1 siamese cat! How that happen?? How 2 tabby cats make a siamese? Did my wonderful MeMe had a siamese egg in her? So how did this happen? What happen? Thanks for readin!!!

Lou Rought: ok the mother will cut the umbilical cord but if it starts to bleed (it shouldn't happen but just i case) tie it off with floss and sanitize it with iodine. i would make the mother a bed out of a box and some towels she should like it in there. and you should change the towels every day cause the kittens are not litter trained yet. when they are born you can touch them if you wash you hands VERY well and arms if the mother lets you if you do pick them up be very careful but it is a good idea to check them over and make sure they look normal but don't take them out of the mothers site, if she lets you hold them and if she trusts you she should let you touch them.

Karie Mavle: I'd say a must have is a scratchi! ng post of some sort, unless you hate your furniture.

Nicolas Cooley: You don't need the best toys; I have some toys from the pet store for my cats to play with.Cats are hunters by nature, they will chase after anything that moves quickly or if they know you are hiding something under a blanket. Crumple a piece of paper and throw it. They'll run after it and try to "kill" it....Show more

Leora Klingelhoets: my young cat is pregnant shes a year old .. any ways when the kittens are born what do i do with the umbillicord will the mother take it off or do i have to cut it off ? i really want to be prepared so any information that you have on cat birth or young kittens or cats being pregnant please tell me any information!! :) i really want the kittens to live so please help me there are gonna be 3 three kittens my dad could feel them last night when our cat was walking around the house.?and could our cat have kittens in the dog bed we have a dog but the dog likes a! nd tollerates the cat even when our cat was a young crazzy kitten but a! ny ways the cat loves the dog bed to lol if she has them in the dog bed could i move them because i dont think the dog would like kittens taking over her bed ..... sorry its so long :)...Show more

Tereasa Sorensen: go to Webshots.com and type in chocolate siamese in the search box.

Clinton Quant: My boys love it when I whip thick shoelaces around for them to chase. My kitten is into EVERYTHING right now, so anything is a toy, LOL. My older one likes his toys to make noise, so we have a lot of jingly toys around, like balls with bells. He'll just kick them around and chase them.My older boy also loves stuffed toys. He'll run around with them in his mouth for a good half-hour, never drops them, just runs around with them in his mouth like a weirdo. Cats are silly :)...Show more

Cliff Tyre: Some crumpled paper tied to some sturdy string has always entertained my cats.

Jed Mutone: Your cat will probably hide somewhere you can't get to to have the kittens! . She should be able to take care of everything herself. Because she's so young, some of the kittens may not live, or may be deformed. You can have her checked out by a vet if you have any questions. You SHOULD have her checked out by a vet anyway.Once the kittens are born you should have her spayed so that she won't get pregnant again.

Troy Monsivais: Feather wands are great, they're probably my cats favorite. The Ripple Rug is another really cool toy. Cat wheels are awesome if your cat will use one, and of course a cat tree is a must for any playful kitty. Make sure you are playing with your kitty everyday as well, and not just getting toys with the expectation of the cat entertaining itself. You should be engaging in 30 mins of play with your cat everyday. High energy cats might need more playtime. I like to do two 15 min sessions with mine and then another hard play session before bed so they aren't waking anyone up. Some days they need even more than that tho! ugh, it all just depends how they're feeling that day....Show more

Corrina Faro: she is too young yo have kittens please go abort the litter and get her spayed . there are quite enough homeless cats so many so currently that shelters can't process the volumes and any older cat is garenteed a death sentence in most states .# Spaying a pregnant rescued cat will help prevent the deaths of living cats and kittens. Even though a pregnant female cat might be adopted by the finder, with good homes waiting for her kittens, each of those kittens will indirectly be responsible for the death of a shelter cat or kitten that might have been adopted into one of those homes.A case in point is a rescuer who also fosters cats, with space limits to her ability to house them. She recently had to make a choice between spaying/aborting a pregnant cat that had been dumped on her doorstep, or sending a litter of kittens she had been fostering to the local shelter, where they would have immediately been killed. So for the "greater good" she had the new cat spay! ed, even though it cost a lot of emotional pain.# Very young cats and very old cats rarely enjoy the kind of physical condition that would warrant allowing them to give birth. Birthing and nursing a litter of kittens would easily take their last ounce of strength, and could kill them. This truth is even more evident in the case of pregnant strays, who may have already borne dozens of litters of kittens. (A female cat is capable of bearing at least three litters of kittens each year.) The kindest and most compassionate action anyone could take with one of these cats is to spay/abort her.# The only time a pregnant stray cat should be allowed to give birth is in the case of being near-term. There is a Roe vs Wade aspect to this argument, which brings up a whole different issues of viability - "when does it occur during pregnancy?"

Charis Deguzman: Go to the CFA and TICA websites - which both have pictures of Champions.

Norine Lomonte: Things our cats have enjoyed a! re laser pointers. String, especially with some shredded paper tied at ! the end; a dented ping-pong ball that rolls unpredictably; cotton reels; cardboard boxes.

Barrett Alosa: You have all they need now, it's fine.I sometimes make little wadded up paper balls for mine. You don't have to BUY anything.
