Karl Samiec: Claude Monet was perhaps the most famous of the landscape artists. He painted in many seasons. Vincent Van Gogh, though he did many still-life paintings, also has a good many landscapes from spring, and others from summer and fall. I can't specifically recall any winter paintings, but you could research that. The greatest of American landscape painters, Fredrick Church, painted in many seasons. Thomas Cole and Bierstadt also were landscape painters of note, and worthy of a look for all seasons....Show more
Lou Ravelo: Perhaps the most famous set of a landscape subject depicted in different seasons is Claude Monet's "Haystacks" series. The site below offers good images.
