What's the best way to calculate a loaded hourly rate based upon a yearly salary type job.?

answers 0:A friend of mine is considering a four month position that she received an e-mail on that asked for an hourly wage (which needed to include money to cover benefits, etc.). If she makes $100K plus benefits, how much should she ask for on an hourly basis for this 4 month position (realizing that it should probably pay for 5 months).answers 1:100K divided by 52 weeks divided by 40 hour week.$48.08 per houranswers 2:Just to be clear. I can do simple math by dividing 100K / 52 / 40..I'm wondering about the fact that the job doesn't include benefits. Has anyone bid out a job like this before realizing that they'd have to switch from company benefits to contractor type benefits?answers 3:I understand your question, but really its still hard to ans! wer, even though you have given some info. I take it that she will be paid as a contractor, and will getting a 1099 at the end of the year. Which means she will have to pay self employement taxes on of 15.3% off the top of what she will earn (this is what your employer would normally pay for SS
