Best motorcycle for beginners?

Marya Fehn: Depends how big you are, After i went to a training class for a couple days, after we finished the instructor said to buy one as big as you can stand with and hold up. At that time for me it was Yamaha Virago 750.

Ramona Pago: Hi, Kelly. Different from boys, a girl motorcycle beginner can start with a scooter. It's much more safer on road. I don't know how much displacement do you wang, but 150cc is enough for you.(you know the oil price is not cheap these days). For such a size, the price should be under $1000, affordable for you? The compact size and bright colors care suitable for girls to ride on road. But remember to have a driver's license.

Arnoldo Budzynski: Don't be so lazy. You could look this question up, it gets asked about 50 times a week on Yahoo.http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_...

Jasper Mangel: NO motorcycle is unsafe -- riders are unsafe. Safer riders are those who do not trust anyone, never have the "right! -of-way", watch every and all vehicle within 100 feet around you and at least 15 seconds travel forward."Best" depends on your size and where you plan to ride. Since you do not tell about anything no one can give you any good suggest....Show more

Faustino Mellerson: I'd say that if you are 16 and have a driver's license, the Kawasaki 250R Ninja would be a great choice; in fact, the 250R Ninja is one of best starter motorcycles of all time. It's a beautiful looking bike, is great on gas, and it's got pretty good performance. You could probably buy a nice used one for around $2,000, keep it for a couple of years, sell it, and get back most of what you paid for it.

Eleni Mccier: Get a peewee or something small, nothing over 70cc. Lol, I know it sounds dumb, but trust me don't try starting on a big one of you don't know what you're doing... Especially if it's for offroad / stunts.
