Do you think my school will give me money for transportation?

Valentine Willinger: Nope, they will tell you that you should have got a dorm on campus.

Shena Etulain: No, they will not.-Your best bet is applying for your city's public transportation. They will accept you for Free Transportation if you have No Income as a student, or as Low Fare Transportation (paying little out of the cost of it) if you have an income of some kind. Social Security income doesn't count.--Also apply for food services as a student; you need good nutrition for your studies....Show more

Barrett Zheng: Get a part time job or find some way to support yourself

Davida Gisriel: I have never heard of transportation costs as included with tuition fees, do you have that in writing , or has anyone actually told you this?Heald has been a for-profit college since 2007, and as such it may not have funds available for this sort of thing. However, someone there is likely to know where you can go to get this emergency need met. Can you try to f! ind someone near campus you can stay with for a couple of weeks, or someone who lives near you with whom you can share a ride to campus? One weekend's work cutting grass / pulling weeds/painting a house would buy a couple weeks of bus fare, yes? Check for casual labor ads in the town closest to you at craigslist.orgGood luck!...Show more

Hai Biggart: yes, if you are the best student, they will just pay you more money than you actually need

Gale Hartt: the only way to truly know is to ask them. you never know, they might actually agree, but usually they wound help and make up and excuse like "its your responsibility" and all that!
